Whuttup, Jerry?,
I saw you perform with Edgar & White Trash in April of 1971 at the Rock Pile on Long Island and again in June of '71 at the Fillmore East and you nutty cats WAILED, man! I remember you singing an amazing Ray Charles style version of "Eleanor Rigby" at the Rock Pile and the band smoked! Fleetwood Mac couldn't follow you that night. I wish you played in L.A. and I'd be there! I'm a stand up comedian now and have been good friends with Johnny & Edgar for quite some time. Just thought I'd drop in and say hi. If you're into it you can see some clips of me onstage and some cool pics on www.myspace.com/stevenpearl . Stay well and lemme know if you and your great band are coming to the Los Angeles area sometime soon. Take care and the very best to you, Big Daddy.

Your soulful vocals and horn playing have been a great inspiration to me. Why has White Trash Recycled and your first solo album never been released on CD????-its the best f.........n R and B album of all time!

I'VE GOT NEWS FOR YOU !!I saw Jerry and White Trash (w/o Edgar) in the early 70's in concert with the Elvin Bishop Group at this place called EARTH in San Diego (Pacific Beach).
I was about 10 yards from the stage.....and the bands were cookin' that night. Jerry is by far the most powerful singer I've ever seen in concert.

Had some of the best times of my life in the early '70's when I lived in Beaumont, working at a local radio station. Spent a lot of time going and hearing the "local" musicians in the Golden Triangle area and as far over as Lake Charles. While there was a lot of great music that came out of the area, nobody ever came close to the music that Jerry was making.

I found all Jerry's Boogie Kings cds at www.cdbaby.com . (compilation of 3 albums for $39) They also carry the Jerry Lightfoot cd. Now if we could only get his solo stuff on cd. (hint hint) We love you Jerry!!!!

Jerry,
One more thing....how about a Myspace presence? That would be cool and maybe expose you to some who have never experienced your music.
Just a thought....

Jerry,
Since the day I bought the Edgar Winter's White Trash "album" (when it was released), I have loved your music. I listen to your songs all the time and love them. Keep on singing! As a musician you have been an inspiration to me. You embody blue-eyed soul and no one else comes close.
Thanks for everything!

Hey Jerry. I was browsing for your cd's for mom when I came across this website. I wanted to tell u how much I enjoyed u coming out and singing with me a few months back. It's always been a dream of mine to share the stage with u and it was nice to finally have the courage to sing in front of u, even tho you still make me nervous as hell! But that's because you're the best singer I've ever heard live. You're the real deal brother. My singing heroes, to name a few are Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Wilson Picket, Ray Charles and YOU!! Keep on delivering....!

I got into the Bamboo club in Lake Charles when I was in high school to see White Trash after Edgar left. Jerry blew me away! Tearin' the sax up, holding notes forever, walkin' on tables while he put on the most amazing show I had ever seen! PLEASE tell me how to get "LaCroix" and "Second Coming". I have sent emails to the other website with no response. I gotta have those albums!
