Web site for the late Uncle John Turner. Uncle John's first gig was playing drums for Jerry in the 60's. "Unc" was a gunuine blues man, and probably the best blues drummer in the world. He's played with just about every top name blues act around, and is credited with creating the distinct blues-rock sound. And it all started in Groves, Texas playing with Jerry LaCroix.
Vince is an old friend of Jerry's, and one of his biggest fans. He wrote a song called "Jerry LaCroix tought me how to Boogie" for his Soul Groovers cd.
